  i want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.

  Maybe have a section that compares JW beliefs with traditional Christian theology. The premise doesn't have to be that the Bible is true, as I realize many are non-believers, but the concept being that JWs claim to follow only the Bible, but in reality they have unique non-Biblical major teachings. Nothing overly religious, just basic stuff that leaves an immediate impression, such as:

  - the Biblical test of a prophet, i.e. if someone says something in the name of Jehovah and it doesn't come true they're a false prophet

  - Jesus saying not to go house to house

  - Jesus saying that the signs of the last days of Jerusalem would happen "never again", precluding a second fulfillment

  - the lack of any earthly hope mentioned at all in the new testament

  - Paul not giving obedience to the men in Jerusalem that WT calls the Governing Body

  - the old testament laws that blood can be sold to foreigners, or even eaten in an emergency resulting in temporary uncleanness

  There could also be a section on past teachings like organ transplants, blood fractions, and most notably vaccines, all of which were after they were 'chosen' in 1919.

  he then informed the elders that their names and addresses would be included in a written request to the government for legal recognition... then explained to us that since our names and addresses would be in that document, if the authorities ever wanted to ban our work, we would be the first ones they would come after and the first ones to be thrown in jail.

  I've never been in one where someone has put their hand up, to oppose it.

  Like you say it is rare but one couple in my old cong years ago did. They had been inactive and critical of the org, but then "reactivated" and got "privileges" but they still were the only negative votes. They said afterwards they thought whatever it was was an excessive use of money.

  Perhaps you and others have a legal case against their congregations and maybe against the WT

  The thing is though that most Halls have local corporations for one of the congs that goes there, so no connection to WT.

Brother Perla... offered to return the identity card to anyone who was afraid. No one asked for his card back."

  Well of course they didn't, who would dare? It's the same today with many "personal decisions", we all know the concept of choice is just an illusion, that is if you know what's good for you or want to retain your standing and social network. But this one is just an extreme example of putting these men in a potentially dangerous situation, without consulting their families, and just outright ordering them to do it... followed by an obligatory but meaningless option to the contrary.

  It also is right in line with their request to obey any and all directions including ones that don't make sense.

  i have informed my elders of my heavenly call during the time they met with me for my reinstatement last year on june, 2022. i informed my congo secretary also.

  Yes I will be, but at home privately as I've been doing for some years. The ceremony at the hall I only go to for family and is completely unrelated in my mind. I wouldn't want to 'partake' there as it has a whole different connotation to JWs than to most Christians.

  Thanks Terry, great reminders. BTW this is a great way to reverse witness as a pimo. JWs are always keen on bashing Christendom, so talk about the millerites, their failings and their splinter groups. Talk about everything but JWs, and if the similarities fit, well that's on the listener because you aren't criticizing or even talking about JWs.

  Black Mass and the Memorial

  memorial is upon us and looking for material to fi my next video.i wonder if you can help.i know there is a loose connection between black mass and the memorial because both desecrate and disrespect the host but does any one know when the arrangement of passing the bread and the wine started and by whom?.
